Blackburn Dwellings

This project includes 38 three-story townhouses and one two-story townhouse.

 

During the design process, SGA Design repeatedly optimized the plans and ultimately achieved a total of 400m² more saleable area than what was estimated in the client’s feasibility study. Additionally, the estimated 11 two-bedroom, one-car space townhouses were upgraded to three-bedroom with double-car space configurations.

 

This project involved various systemic issues, such as complex planning requirements, cost control pressures, and underground pipelines left over time. As the architectural design and the leading coordinating party, SGA obtained planning permit within only 1 year and 5 months in 2022.
